ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 44 WCF. S# 150175A. Bbl. 24" rnd., with sporting bbl. sights and Vernier tang sight having large disc aperture. Button mag. Blue finish, with case colored hammer and lever. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock, with crescent steel trapdoor buttplate. Mfg. in 1884. CONDITION: bbl. and action retain a small amount of original blue remaining, showing spotted surface corrosion and handling marks. Wood finish shows some scattered light scratches and marks, with a small chip at left upper corner of buttplate. Mechanically fine. Bright bore has strong rifling with scattered spots of pitting.
